Die israelische Seite zeigt sich weiterhin erstaunt und ist offensichtlich nicht fähig einen Kommentar zur gestrigen Einreise von 85 Hamas-Mitgliedern abzugeben. Auf dem Papier ist die gestrige Aktion als Bruch von Absprachen mit Israel seitens der Ägypter zu sehen. Die top-Namen der Hamas die einreisen konnten: Faraj Al-Ghu [PLC-member Gaza City, ]. Mushir Al-Masri [Vorsitzender des PLC-Rechtsausschuß]. Sheikh Muhammad Najjar [Sprecher PLC-Hamas-Block]. Der ehemalige Hamas-Innenminister Talab Qawasmi und Abu Khalid Al-Hasanat [ich glaube gemeint ist Rafik al-Hasanat]. Keine kleine Liste. Das Schweigen ist möglicherweise ein Zeichen das man im Fall des entführten Soldaten Shalit voran kommt, aber das Gesicht wahren will. Wenn dann müste der Mann aus Assiut stammen und in die Sinai-bombings involviert gewesen sein.

Schneller als gedacht: The Israel Prisons Service began the release of scores of jailed Palestinians late Monday morning, sending 57 prisoners from the Ketziot prison in the Negev back to their homes in the West Bank. Another 30 prisoners were expected to be freed and sent home to the Gaza Strip later in the day. A female IDF officer was lightly wounded when stones were thrown at the forces and a policeman who was hit in the ensuing fight collapsed. The policeman soon recovered and did not need to be evacuated as he received medical attention at the scene. The Civil Administration destroyed four illegal buildings in the area. Security forces were also set to evacuate two sites next to Kedumim and Givat Eitam. The Palestinian Authority will publicly call for the involvement of an international body to oversee the implementation of agreements with Israel on economic and political reforms in the PA, according to a senior Palestinian source. The PA is expected to ask for such involvement during the peace summit scheduled to take place in the United States in November. According to the same source, who is involved in the negotiations with Israel and asked for anonymity, Israel is expected to accept the participation of a "third party" in the region. Der Brüller: Nachdem es zu verschiedenen Demonstrationen und aufrufen und Klagen aus dem Sicherheitsbereich wegen ausstehender Gehaltszahlungen... The Palestinian Cabinet announced on Monday that all military employees from the National Security Services may lodge complaints about not having received their salaries. The complaints are to be sent through a special committee which has been appointed to follow up on the payment of salaries to the Palestinian National Security Services. The cabinet called on all the military employees who have not received their salaries to telephone the committee as soon as possible. +++++ Die gestern vermeldeten looting-Aktionen marodierender IDF-Milizen in der Westbank führen naturgemäß zu 12 entführten Palästinensern. Die Gründe für die Entführungen sind unbekannt. +++++ Dagegen bleibt die Fatah im Tagesschnitt: 6 Hamas-Mitglieder werden verhaftet. Da es davon wohl Tausende gibt hat die Fatah damit ein schönes Beschäftigungsprogramm für die nächsten Jahre.
